1. Definitions
· Event: The watch exhibition show “The Glasgow Watch Show” taking place on Saturday 9th May at the Venue.
· Organiser: The Watch Collectors’ Club Ltd.
· Ticket Holder: Any individual in possession of a valid ticket for entry to the Event.
· Ticket: the ticket or tickets purchased by the Ticket Holder
· Venue: The location where the Event is being held; Hampden Park, Glasgow
· Sponsor: Any entity that provides financial support for the Event in exchange for promotional opportunities.
· Brand: Any watch brand exhibiting at the Event.
· Anordain Workshop Tour: A complimentary guided tour of the Anordain watchmaking workshop, located adjacent to the Venue, offered as an optional add-on to certain tickets. The Anordain Workshop Tour is organised and operated solely by Anordain (Scotland Watch Company Ltd) and not by the Organiser.
· Student Ticket: A discounted ticket available to individuals who are currently enrolled in full-time education and can produce a valid student identification card upon entry.
· Child Ticket: A discounted ticket available for children under the age of 16, who must be accompanied at all times within the Venue and at any Anordain Workshop Tour by a Ticket Holder aged 18 or over (“Accompanying Adult”).
2. General Terms
2.1 These terms and conditions govern the purchase and use of tickets for the Event.
2.2 By purchasing a ticket, the Ticket Holder agrees to comply with these terms and conditions.
2.3 The Organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
3. Ticket Purchase
3.1 Tickets are non-transferable and must be purchased from the Organiser.
3.2 All sales are final; no exchanges or replacements will be provided except as stated in the Cancellation, Postponement, and Refund Policy.
3.3 The Organiser is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.
3.4 The Anordain Workshop Tour is offered as a complimentary add-on to eligible tickets where indicated at the point of purchase. Allocation of places on the Anordain Workshop Tour is subject to availability and is managed at the sole discretion of Anordain. The Organiser does not guarantee the availability of any Anordain Workshop Tour place and accepts no liability for any failure by Anordain to provide or complete a tour. By accepting a place on an Anordain Workshop Tour, Ticket Holders agree to be bound by any additional terms and conditions imposed by Anordain and to comply with all instructions given by Anordain staff on their premises.
3.5 Student Tickets are available at a discounted rate to eligible purchasers. By purchasing a Student Ticket, the purchaser confirms that they are currently enrolled in full-time education. Student Tickets are non-transferable. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or revoke a Student Ticket without refund where valid student identification cannot be produced on request.
3.6 Child Tickets are available at a discounted rate for children under the age of 16. By purchasing a Child Ticket, the purchaser confirms that the child to whom the ticket relates is under 16 years of age. Each child admitted on a Child Ticket must be accompanied throughout the Event and any Anordain Workshop Tour by an Accompanying Adult who holds a valid ticket. The Accompanying Adult accepts full responsibility for the supervision and conduct of the child at all times. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any child who is not accompanied by a suitable Accompanying Adult.
4. Entry to the Venue
4.1 Ticket Holders must present a valid ticket to gain entry to the Venue.
4.2 The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who is unable to produce a valid ticket or who is deemed to be acting inappropriately.
4.3 Tickets must be purchased for a timeslot for the Event. This ticket gives Ticket Holders the right to enter the Event after the time shown on the ticket but not before.
4.4 Ticket Holders may be subject to security searches upon entry.
4.5 Holders of Student Tickets must present a valid, current student identification card (issued by a recognised educational institution and bearing the holder’s name and photograph) upon entry. Failure to produce a valid student identification card will result in the Student Ticket being deemed invalid. The Ticket Holder will be required to either pay the difference to upgrade to a full-price ticket or leave the Venue. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
4.6 Holders of Child Tickets must be accompanied by their Accompanying Adult upon entry and at all times whilst at the Event and during any Anordain Workshop Tour. Children will not be admitted without an Accompanying Adult in attendance. The Accompanying Adult must themselves hold a valid ticket for the Event. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to a child without an Accompanying Adult and no refund will be issued in such circumstances.
4.7 Ticket Holders wishing to participate in an Anordain Workshop Tour must register for an additional ticket for the tour at the times indidcated, subject to availability. Entry to and participation in the Anordain Workshop Tour is subject to any additional entry requirements, health and safety rules, and instructions imposed by Anordain on their premises. Ticket Holders who have been refused entry to the Event or who have been removed from the Venue will not be permitted to participate in the Anordain Workshop Tour.
5. Conduct at the Event
5.1 Ticket Holders must conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful to others and does not disrupt the Event.
5.2 Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Venue without a refund.
5.3 Ticket Holders must comply with all instructions from the Organiser, Venue staff, and security personnel.
6. Health and Safety
6.1 Ticket Holders must adhere to all health and safety guidelines set forth by the Organiser and the Venue.
6.2 In the event of an emergency, Ticket Holders must follow the instructions of the Venue staff and emergency services personnel.
6.3 The Organiser is not responsible for any health issues that may arise from attending the Event. The Organiser and venue both have qualified First Aiders on site.
7. Prohibited Items
7.1 The following items are prohibited at the Event: weapons, illegal substances, outside food and beverages, large bags, and any items deemed dangerous or inappropriate by the Organiser.
7.2 The Organiser reserves the right to confiscate prohibited items and to refuse entry or remove any Ticket Holder found in possession of such items.
8. Photography and Recording
8.1 Photography and recording for personal use are permitted, provided they do not disrupt the Event or infringe on the rights of other attendees.
8.2 Professional photography and recording equipment are not allowed without prior authorization from the Organiser.
8.3 The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs or recordings made at the Event for promotional purposes without compensation to the Ticket Holder.
9. Liability
9.1 The Organiser is not liable for any personal injury, illness (including COVID-19 or other communicable diseases), loss, or damage to property incurred during the Event, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
9.2 Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes the Organiser’s liability for:
· 9.2.1 Death or personal injury caused by its negligence.
· 9.2.2 Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
· 9.2.3 Any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law.
9.3 The Organiser is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, loss of opportunity, or loss of income or revenue.
9.4 Ticket Holders are responsible for their own property and the Organiser accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
9.5 The Organiser is not liable for any acts or omissions of any third parties, including Sponsors, Brands, vendors, or service providers associated with the Event.
9.6 The Organiser is not responsible for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure or delay is due to events beyond its reasonable control (Force Majeure).
9.7 The Anordain Workshop Tour takes place on premises owned and controlled by Anordain (Scotland Watch Company Ltd), which is a separate and independent legal entity from the Organiser. The Organiser has no control over, and accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for, the condition, management, or safety of the Anordain premises, or for any act, omission, negligence, or default of Anordain or its employees, agents, or contractors. Any claim arising from injury, loss, or damage suffered during an Anordain Workshop Tour must be directed to Anordain and not the Organiser.
9.8 Ticket Holders who choose to participate in the Anordain Workshop Tour do so entirely at their own risk. The Organiser makes no representations or warranties as to the safety, suitability, or quality of the Anordain Workshop Tour or the Anordain premises. By participating in the Anordain Workshop Tour, Ticket Holders release the Organiser from any and all claims, liabilities, and losses arising in connection with their attendance at or participation in the Anordain Workshop Tour, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9.9 The Organiser’s total liability to any Ticket Holder, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Ticket Holder for the ticket.
10. Cancellation, Postponement, and Refund Policy
10.1 In the event that the Event is cancelled by the Organiser, Ticket Holders will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price.
10.2 If the Event is postponed, tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date. If Ticket Holders are unable to attend the rescheduled date, they may request a refund within a specified period.
10.3 No refunds will be provided for changes in the programming, lineup, or schedule.
11. Sponsorship and Exhibitors
11.1 Sponsors and Brands are subject to separate agreements and terms specified by the Organiser.
11.2 The Organiser is not responsible for the actions or products of the Sponsors and Brands.
11.3 Sponsors and Brands must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and the terms set by the Organiser.
12. Amendments to Terms
12.1 The Organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
12.2 Any amendments will be posted on the official Event website and will take effect immediately.
13. Force Majeure
13.1 The Organiser is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, or government regulations.
14. Severability
14.1 If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
