Join us for the first ever Watches in Focus Photography Lab! We're delighted to bring together three great photographers in Shoreditch, London, to help you improve your photography and learn some of the tricks of the trade. This is the first ever day dedicated to Watch Photography and everyone is welcome. It's on Saturday 10th October from 10:00AM.

Who is this event for?

This is for everyone interested in Watch Photography. Whether you're just getting started or have been confidently snapping at home or out and about for years, the talks and tips across the day will help you improve your pictures.

Ideally, you'll take your watch photos with a camera, not just your phone, or are interested in starting to do so. You'll hear tips on taking photographs at home, getting your setup right, using props, and working out the right lighting in your environment.

No experience but keen to start taking better photos? Come along to listen and learn, you'll gain insight into the basics and the vey top level, and should leave inspired to start your journey.

People who are into watches and want to photograph them better. Bring a couple of your timepieces, your camera, and a willingness to share and learn.

What will happen at the event?

We're bringing together professional and amateur photographers to spend a day taking lots and lots of pictures of watches.

There will be a studio style setup to help you understand how to start the process of adjusting lighting, props and angles at home.

You'll hear two talks from professional photographers;

• The first will focus on location shooting; making the most of the conditions, storytelling with your watch, and improvising when necessary

• The second will present a super deep dive into shooting watches from a product angle, you'll hear about focus stacking, light enhancement, and using up to 400 images to create on finished picture!

You'll hang out with other enthusiasts and compare watches, cameras and techniques! The Team from The Watch Collectors' Club will be on hand to look after you, and there will be a tasty lunch and refreshments available all day.

You'll get to talk watches. If you've never been to a watch event before you'll soon find out why our community is so famous for being friendly and welcoming, whatever your starting point.
